Attempted this hike back in the winter but was turned back by heavy snow pack. I took the Skylight Pond Trail to the Long Trail &
followed it north to bag both Bread loaf & Wilson. I knew there were few if any views along the way, but was actually rewarded with
some nice glimpses of Grant, Mt. Abe, Camel's Hump, & Mt. Mansfield at different points. An added bonus to the trip was seeing a
black bear cross the forest road in front of me on the way back.
