Even tho a bout of foul weather was expected this weekend, my wife and I decided to run up Mt Whitney via the Mountaineer's Route. By the time we neared Iceberg Lake, snow started falling. Soon, about half an inch or so blanketed the pristine granite in the area making an already beautiful area so much more beautiful. We enjoyed the beauty of the Sierra and continued up the Mountaineers Route under a light snowfall and ever mesmerizing beauty.
