"Great hiking on a fantastic weather day. Enjoyed bright blue skies, very light winds and relative cool, dry temps. Picture perfect. First time on the section of Webster Cliffs from Mizpah hut to Jackson. Although a little wet and muddy, its nice through there with the bogs." — Alohabuffy • Aug 23, 2023
"Really beautiful weather. Good sunshine with temps in the 30s. We had the entire Webster Cliff trail to ourselves. Really enjoyed each and every sunny outlook/ledge. Heading over to Jackson, going against the grain as dozens made their way over to the cliffs. Lots of small but dangerous icy spots. Jackson was nice, but the descent trail was basically a puddle due to a lot of recent rains." — Alohabuffy • Nov 2, 2019
"Teamed up with Elizabeth for a loop hike of Webster, Jackson, Pierce. I needed the 4000 footers for my Grid, and Elizabeth needed Webster. Beautiful day for a hike. Great views. " — newenglandwarrior • Sep 13, 2019
"Single-day Presidential Traverse to finish off 3 days of peakbagging and Appalachian Trail redlining in White Mountain National Forest, New Hampshire. The Traverse, spanning Pinkham Notch to Crawford Notch, covered 25 miles and 8,300 feet of elevation gain in 14 hours moving. The climb down Webster Cliffs at the end of the Traverse was brutal, but we made it back to shortly after sunset. " — wacbravo • Sep 9, 2019
"Last week we were all set to go camping ... a nice long weekend of relaxing. At the last minute our friends talked us into joining them to complete one of the Northeast Ultra 8's - the Presidential Traverse - 24 miles and 9200 feet of gain over some tough terrain. It was not my best day, I wasn't feeling it and I was slower - thankfully these guys were not worried about pace and instead they were all about enjoying the day, working together to get it done and keeping it fun - so thankful for a great crew!" — deb-and-rob • Aug 31, 2019
"What a awesome day! Hiked up the Webster Cliff trail to Mount Webster. The views from the Cliff trail were awesome, feels like a high peak ridge walk! Then hiked over to Mount Jackson and enjoyed views of Mount Washington and the rest of the range," — blackwolf_03278 • Jun 10, 2018
"Spent the night at Mizpah Spring Hut after doing Mount Pierce the previous day. Took Webster Cliff Trail across Mount Jackson to Mount Webster, then down the Webster Cliff Trail to 302. Sunny, clear 60 degree perfect day! Gorgeous trail!!!" — Hufflepuff • Sep 16, 2017
"Swung over from Jackson, but thick clouds blew in from the west and by the time we got there, we couldn't see anything from the cliffs. Even got a little snow too. Trail over from Jackson wasn't packed and it was slow going with snowshoes. Pretty deep in places." — Alohabuffy • Dec 31, 2016
"3 hour hike with 15 minutes at the top....gorgeous view but I thought this trail was pretty difficult....steep inclines would then mellow out to straight paths and then very steep incline for the last 1.5 miles. " — shay-shay • Oct 12, 2016
"6 years since I last visited this mountain. Way to long. Did Jackson for my Grid but it was primarily for red-lining. Went up Webster Cliff Tr to Mt Clinton Tr to Dry River Tr to Saco River Tr. Webster Cliff had a steep ascent, but really nice cliff views below the summit." — newenglandwarrior • Jun 25, 2016
