"Most of the elevation climb to Mount Sniktau from the Grizzly Peak trailhead is right at the start. It's a pretty steep climb and uses up a lot of stamina. Once you clear that climb, the rest of the trek gets much easier. The entire hike features some fantastic views, including many views of the Eisenhower Tunnel below." — Gray3 • Sep 11, 2021

"Celebrating 3 years in the Centennial State and getting back in shape for another round of 14ers this summer. Trails are melting out fast, no need for flotation; some might like to use traction in some spots.

"This was a great route, and my buddy Brandon from NY’s first high-elevation climb! Spikes were definitely very helpful along most of the route, but snowshoes would have been a bit much. The wind and sun and snow glare left our faces a little crispy, but completely worth it!" — LGH-Dan • Mar 26, 2018

"Started from Loveland Pass. It was warm and calm at the trailhead but quickly became cold with strong winds above 12,500 ft. Perfect clear skies and one of the best views surrounded by hundreds of mountains." — mattd • Feb 28, 2016
