Impulse afternoon hike. Perfect weather forecast allowed me to start late. Faint trail headed up to Dyer with a few soft snowfields, then more snow on the way to Gemini. Still a large snowfield between Gemini and Sherman but mostly avoidable. Coming down Sherman more unavoidable snow, slick mud, and several stream crossings made for very wet feet. If these temps hold the next few days will be pretty sloppy but all the snow might be gone in a week.
