It was a day to remember in Mount Shahdag. The climate changed soon when we ascended higher and the scene became entirely covered with fresh snow. It was cold, but the scenery was superb, broad sweeps of open country and no people in sight. It was tough climbing up the mountain at some points due to the amount of snow, but it was a satisfying experience to reach the mountain peak. I gave myself time to observe the landscape, the chilly air and enjoy the experience. It was even a climb to remember, not because it was not difficult but because it was real and sincere.
