"Mount Seymour hike with Jen and John on a brisk and sunny Sunday, with autumn foliage in full blaze. Did the hike as a loop - outward via Brockton, Pump Peak, Tim Jones Peak to Mount Seymour, then back via Mystery Lake. A bit of haze over the city, but beautiful 360 views nonetheless - Mt Baker and the North Cascades; Eagle Mountain and beyond; Mt Elsay, Runner Peak, Coliseum and Brunswick, Cathedral, and and and (wish I could
name them all). My second hike to
Pump Peak this year.

"Arrived in thick fog and slight rain. The trail cleared up beautifully along they way but while we rested on the 2nd peak, the fog came rolling back in! Figured there would be no view if we continued and it was covered in snow up top. After we enjoyed out Viet Sub, we made our way back. It's my first time wearing my Patagonia hiking pants, light and saved me from bug bites. Love it." — tpow • Jul 12, 2020
"Solo trip with my dog (Pheonix). Did this in July when a lot of the front ranges in the rockies were bone dry. I know this mountain is many many km west of the rockies but i expected all the snow melt to be gone. I was very wrong. The entire hike was in snow to the summit." — dkmountainman • Jul 12, 2012
