"The weather was supposed to be 101 degrees today, but it was actually overcast, with a nice breeze. Anybody wanting to climb Mt. Scott should be aware that the route up is a paved road. The refuge service just allows hikers to walk it during designated times. It's not a quiet, backcountry trail, which is fine. It still offers some of the best views of the Wichitas, and is well worth it. " — danielmartin • May 20, 2022
