Gorgeous day! Blue skies, light breeze. Hiked with two friends. Passed quite a few day hikers and some thru hikers along the way. Went up from the Massey Gap parking lot and Rhododendron Trail to AT and finally the Mt Rogers Spur Trail. Took us about 5 hours round trip. Saw the Wilbur Ridge ponies on the way back down.
