I went up Mount Price on a Mountaineers overnight scramble. From the Dingford Creek TH, we hiked up the Dingford Creek trail to the Hester Lake trail. On the crossing of Dingford Creek there is a log upstream 50 meters that I used on the way back. Others in the group opted for changing boots for flip-flops. On the Hester Lake trail there are two places marked by pink ribbons where the route goes east off-trail to avoid standing water. We camped at Hester Lake, just beyond the outlet. The second day we hiked along the north shore, up to Little Hester Lake, and up to a saddle NW of the lake. There was deep snow from the saddle up to the summit, very straightforward. Going up, the snow was pretty good for kick-stepping, and after some warming, it was excellent for plunge-stepping coming down. The views from the top are magnificent, with all the high peaks to the east. We could see Glacier Peak, but it was a little too hazy to see Baker. There is cell phone connectivity on the peak, but not anywhere else.

It was a very long slog: 4:30 hours up the first day, and 13 hours hiking the second, though we were not going very fast. Note that Jeb's trip report shows the same times: 4 hours to Hester Lake and another 4 hours to the summit. Going down was not any faster than going up for us.
