"Mount Ogden was a pleasant scramble despite not being exactly peaceful. Due to it's location, the rumble of the highway and trains screeching their way through the spiral tunnels was constant. There was a surprisingly good trail from the highway, although we lost it numerous times and ended up bushwhacking. The crux at the summit is rated difficult, although I found it less intimidating than expected. It's slightly more awkward on the way down and you definitely would not want a fall there." — geoffhardy • Aug 20, 2022
"It was a hot day. Gto started at ~830am, crossed the highway and started up the steep bushwhack. There was a goal trail in parts, which helped, but the trail would fade away at times. I think the trail also goes along exposed areas (where snow would melt first). After some time I got out of the trees and spotted a goat (which made itself scarce). The ridge was fine, but I spent too much time trying to be on the ridge where I should have just traversed low. The crux was highly overrated imo. I'd say it was an easy difficult. The way back was fine, but I started to run low on water. The bushwhack on the way back seemed longer than on the way up." — BertB • Aug 1, 2021
