"A perfect place to hike where beach and mountain are combined in one single travel to enjoy. Mount Manaphag has a dense forest and a little bit tricky to hike. Its beautiful rock formations can be seen afar. There is no clear visibility on its top since it was surrounded by tall tree's but there is a man made viewing deck at its top." — ilonggotraveler • Mar 12, 2017

"Our 6-man party arrived in Tambaliza, a village in Pan de Azucar Is on April 12, 2001. The next day, we hired a guide named Dagul Atanoso and a porter and started the ascent of the trail-less South Face in the morning. Excluding time spent on rest stops, our party covered the Face mostly by scrambling in 6 hours. We set up camp on the summit and descended over the Ponting Trail in the southern side on the third day." — dennis5033 • Apr 13, 2001
