"It was perfect weather to do these 4 peaks. It was about 13.5 miles with 2831' elevation gain. I mostly used the fire roads but used small trails for La Tuna and Peak 2646. It's best to do this on a cloudy day as there is pretty much no shade." — rickb • May 23, 2019

"Closed out my busy morning with my last summit of the day, which was Mount La Tuna in the Verdugo Mountains. I parked near the beginning of Chandler Fire Road. This is also the beginning point of the hike. The smooth dirt road quickly ascends to Mount La Tuna, which is the first notable high point along the route. The road passes near the summit, so a short scramble up a use trail quickly achieves the high ground. After my quick visit, I returned to my parking spot and closed out my day on the trails visiting LA city summits." — MikeTeeples • Jun 23, 2018
