I came up the Hessie trail from Eldora and made my way to the far end of Jasper Lake. I lost the trail to Storm Lake at some point and decided to head up the ridge to Pt. 12,695. I walked over to Mount Jasper and reached the summit as skies were turning dark with storm clouds. I quickly descended and walked over to the Devil's Thumb trail and returned to the trailhead.
