"Dropped off (two skiers) by Kurt (RIP) of Gulf Air at about 7000-8000 feet on Cathedral glacier. Spent about a week hauling loads and setting up camps at about 10,500 and 12,000 feet on the Cathedral. Summited Mt Hubbard on the last of 8 days of cloudless weather. Retreated next day to the upper edge of the ice fall through waist deep snow, cloud and wind. Cleared the icefall the next day during a break in the bad weather. Flew out a few days later. Many crevasses, but also good memories." — robinscaife • May 8, 1997
