A trip out to activate a VKFF Park which had not yet been activated. Drove from home to Mirboo North to pick up Sergio VK3SO. Drove to Fish Creek and out to the car park for Mount Hoodle. Climbed over the summit and out along the Loader Track and then along a road reserve out to Hoddle Range Flora Reserve VKFF-2332. Set up the radio gear and made around 20 contacts before packing up. We headed back to Mount Hoddle / Mount Nicholl. I remembered to turn on the GPS app on the phone to record the return journey.... We stopped at the summit of Mt Hoddle for lunch and a quick activation of VK3/VT-076. We packed up and descended to the car and headed back to Fish Creek and then home via Mirboo North.
