"Started from Lions Bay and missed the turn off to Mount Harvey...added lots of extra distance headed to the Lions :( . When we did find the route, the climb was relentless! I didn't expect to see any view with the thick fog but it cleared up while the passing clouds made the top even more majestic. Lots of lovely wild flowers as I was being swarmed by black flies even hanging from the lid of my cap. At the top, we saw the ridge headed towards the summit, looked closer than it was but we made it. What an unforgettable hike." — tpow • Jul 21, 2019
"Lots of snow between Brunswick & Harvey. Some wayfinding issues but manageable. Small streams made for good water sources. Microspikes for the snow and trekking poles for the descent are advisable. The plan was to make it to West Lion but low visibility at that elevation inspired us to put it off for another day." — decentdiversions • Jun 8, 2019
"Left Coquitlam at 3:15pm on Sunday and made it to Lions Bay in 45min. Threw on my pack and started hiking. Good trail right to the alpine, where good snow replaced the trail. Made it to the peak for a 6:45pm supper. Went down the East side after supper and found a dry area on the ridge between Magnesia pk and Harvey to set up camp. Great view of the Lions. Left camp at 8:00 the following morning and went to Magnesia pk, an easy 40min warm-up, after which I continued on up to Brunswick mt. Reached the peak for an early 9:45am lunch. After enjoying the view came the descent back to Lions Bay. Parking lot at 12:15pm." — PabloBruneau • May 12, 2019
"Started at 9:30 am at Lions Bay parking lot trail head. Got to the summit at 1:30 pm with rest in the meadows. Had lunch for 45 minutes at the top. Got back to the parking lot at 5:00 pm, but had to wait till 7 pm for Mary and Dieter before heading home." — tbcwong • Aug 28, 2011
