"9/14/24: Audrey drove Jackson and I up Michigan Creek Rd (CR54) from our camp at Michigan Creek CG to the upper Michigan Creek TH @ 11,100’. We hoofed it from there up to Georgia Pass along the road for a bit over a mile and then started to make our way up the East Ridge passing a lone mountain goat just before the long, steep, unrelenting climb up the talus field. There’re faint goat trails that wind up and down the ridge but we mostly kept to the ridge proper (Class 2) as the terrain is mostly easy solid talus. After lunch we headed for Peak 13005 and to try to find some scramble opportunities along the ridge. (8/2620)" — LoneWolf • Sep 14, 2024
