Drove 722 miles from Utah to the trailhead Friday night. Slept at the trailhead and woke up and started my hike a little after 7 in the morning. It was a cold morning with the temp at 23 degrees. Very nice trail with everyone from Colorado on it. Beautiful day to do Colorado's tallest peak. The Leadville area is great.
