Summited around 10:00 AM on what was Good Friday this year. No one around for miles! I had wanted to take the .8 mile one way hike from the Mt. Davis Picnic area, but I had a 15 yr. old nephew in the car who refused to wake up and visit the HP. So I was forced to park at the 400 ft. away parking area, and lock him in the car while I visited with my 14 yr. old son. So if the 15 yr. old ever aspires to be a highpointer later in life, this shit don't count for him. :-).
