Closure of the Spooky Meadows Trail turned this into a 30 mile backpack. Spent the night at 1000 Island Lakes. Woke up at 330 AM and reached North Galcier Pass at dawn. Wasted a lot of time scrambling over patches of ice without having crampons. From the pass it sa another 1.5 hrs of steep but solid talus to the summit.
