Great day for a hike up to the summit via Champney Falls Trail to the Piper Trail. Not many people on the trail today. Weather was perfect. Low 70s, low humidity. Bugs were minimal. Many muddy areas on the trail but easily hiked around. Once above the tree line the wind picked up and temperature dropped a little. Great day!
