"Great early season climb for me. Not a long trek at all from the pullout at Loveland Pass exit access road -- maybe ~4.2 miles roundtrip but ~1,975+ elevation gain in the 2.5 mile hike up. Follow the road up Dry Gulch until it becomes a well defined trail. Follow this trail along the creek's right side (Mt. Bethel with it's avalanche fences will be on the right). Eventually you should come to a creek which flows up towards the saddle between Bethel and it's unnamed neighbor to the West. Begin bushwacking up towards the saddle. I made the mistake of turning off the trail too early, which may have made my ascent more difficult. Lots of willows and tight Aspens and Pine until you hit tree-line. Once you are nearly at the saddle, you will see an approach up Bethel to the North-East, taking the West ridge. Cut away from the saddle and take this approach -- some scrambling will be necessary at points and I used my hands a couple times for balance. Once you gain the ridge however, it is a leisurely stroll along to the South to the Summit.
