"Today I had a lot of fun up there, I went to the Sierra Espuña Natural Park to make the fifth ascent to Majal del Puerco, a sunny but cool day up there. At the top I realized that I had forgotten lunch so I continued to Morrón de Alhama through the entire dividing plain of the Sierra above 4500 feet. The magnificent views, the fresh air and the blue sky. On the way back I have seen several herds of barnacles that were not very happy to see me there. Few people on the summits, in the first I saw a couple and in Morrón de Alhama I was alone (it is difficult to reach it, I suppose).
On the way back I felt like going up Morrón de Espuña where I saw a couple of vultures." — franciscobirruezo • Feb 13, 2022

"Nice Sunday to go up the mountain, the air is fresh and the wind blows so we prepare a lunch to eat it a little closer to heaven. We go to the natural park on the highway and go up through the town of Aledo. There are quite a few hikers and families enjoying nature. However, going uphill is less popular with people and we didn't find anyone at the top of La Morra del Majal del Puerco or Morra de las Moscas. After lunch, three young mountaineers came to take a selfie.
As we descend, a group of red-billed choughs fly over our heads, screaming into the air as if saying goodbye to us." — franciscobirruezo • Oct 18, 2020

"I come from Pedro Lopez Peak and I turn to this one. The wind blows hard and the clouds touch the stones. My feet have become accustomed to dancing in this hard terrain and I move forward with determination. Swifts pass by my head
at full speed and I hear their wings cut the wind. They say that these birds sleep in the air, first a part of their brain and then the other." — franciscobirruezo • Aug 13, 2019

"I return with Elvira to this mountain that I climbed six months ago, in the valley the haze blurs the horizon and as I drive I remember the skies of a clean blue of my childhood. I hope to see a sky like that on today's summit. And indeed towards the North the sky is blue and towards the valley of the east that strange fog follows. The temperature is ideal and an army of insects takes advantage of the day before the cold comes. We get to see a goat on a stone thanks to the prismatic, this is their territory and they watch over it protecting their young. I'm happy to see Phil Robinson say a crystal clear sky." — franciscobirruezo • Sep 13, 2018

"Magnificent mountain that has captivated me. I climbed alone and after crossing a small forest I walked through a "lapiaz" where only a few milestones indicated the route.
At the top a strong chill wind was blowing the clouds above my head. From here the famous "Paredes del Leyva" looked like hills." — franciscobirruezo • Mar 6, 2018
