Up Via Montagna then Longara in the car as far as I dared risk the suspension (a French car, so not far) then walked on foot to where the road splits, a bridge over the ravine to the right. Then up the path heading west (forestale diretissima) which rises evenly up the side of the mountain to a selletta in something of a clearing. From here, climbed a little to the east and found the summit. Progressed a bit further east to an old circular structure made out of the rocks. Then headed back to the selletta and got onto the forestale esse which made a full circuit of the mountain taking me back to the road. At the end encountered a herd of goats and several very protective barking dogs. Nice walk, mostly shaded in forest.
