"We ended up summiting 3 times, would recommend monte rose to Dublin to summit to townline to bald rock to only summit twice. Townline and Dublin are a bit obscure and unmarked." — stephanierandall • Nov 21, 2020
"Climbed up Mount Monadnock and visited the four sub-peaks surrounding it. Nice big loop hike with plenty of variety and tons of ice. From Dublin Peak, Marlboro Trail > Marian Trail > Great Pasture Trail to Monte Rosa Summit Area " — wacbravo • Jan 26, 2019
"Cloudy with flurries, not too cold, made for a nice hike to this small peak off of Mount Monadnock. No microspikes or snowshoes needed this day - snow was soft, not packed down or icy." — PJSelmer • Dec 18, 2017
"This was my first of 8 peaks on the day. Crested the Grand Monadnock peak 3 times on my way to completing the Monadnock 5 Peak Challenge (8.15 miles). Then I drove to nearby Pack Monadnock and completed all 3 Peaks there (7.5 miles). I called it the 1 Day / Monadnock 8 Peak Challenge. " — garydavidsonruns • Jul 16, 2017
"This is a nice place to stop - I've done it a few times - on the way up or down the south side of the mountain. Beautiful views to the south and west (Greylock was clear on the horizon)." — RSperling • Oct 17, 2015
"Second peak of the day after heading up north gap mountain and back on the M&M trail, crossing route 124 and going up Royce trail in Monadnock State Park hitting the halfway house site>Fairy Spring trail (amazing) with the Fassett's Mountain house 1850 site, fairy spring and on to "the tooth" which is under the Monte Rosa peak. From Monte rosa to the Great Pasture trail>Mossy Brook>Cart path>and back." — mikezilla • Sep 9, 2012
"hit this wonderful spot on our way back down from an epic hike up cliff walk to Bald rock to summit and back down to Monte Rosa before headin' out. This is one of my favorite locations on Grand Monadnock for sure!" — mikezilla • Oct 1, 1996
