From the Via Valle (v)Orta to the south west, parking by the large fountain and water trough. Up track winding through fenced off farm area, then northwards rising steadily on a fair path. Here I encountered a young calf, very thin and too weak to be scared. Looked abandoned. Not much I could do. Followed path up, until it switched back at to SES again rising steadily more or less southwards to reach summit. Descended directly down this southwards, there being quite a few paths to choose. Forested and mossy.

That poor calf. I wouldn't have left it to the crows Looking at its really bad shape, it woud have be an act of mercy to barbecue him ;) Would have been interested in seeing more pics!
