My hike up to these peaks was very fun. I started on the Santa Ana River Trail. The CA-91 freeway was followed by on the Santa Ana River Trail, but I will call the SART. Then I followed the CA-91 freeway for a mile along the SART until I turned onto the Coal Canyon Trail. I hiked for a while and saw a few benchmarks (3 benchmarks), some great views, and a flat area. Then saw some Tecate Cypress and a gate that was the boundary between the Coal Canyon Ecological Reserve and Chino Hills Regional Park. Then the trail turned steep. Then climbed Mini Moab Peak. Many great views, Picnic Rock, and the summit geocache/register were found on this summit. 2 benchmarks were found to the east of the summit. Then turned on to Leonard Road/ Main Divide TKTR. The trail started to become steep and then went downhill. Then saw a gate that was the boundary between Cleveland NF and Coal Canyon Ecological Reserve. Then it was very steep and then saw a deep and jagged canyon. Then we ascended this steep hill then summited Sierra Peak. The summit has a benchmark and some excellent views. This summit has a very special place in my brain because this is my first ever mountain summit when I hiked this a long time ago.
