"Gorgeous day...temps up to 70 in the area. Quite windy and chilly on the top but a fantastic view of the foliage. Hiked with a (slower) friend but still made it up and down in 3.5 hours. " — shay-shay • Oct 17, 2016
"Once on top of the First Sister I continued on to the Middle one. First sprinkles began to fall then I almost stepped on a snake, whose skin color blended in with the rock. Checked out the summit then vamoosed back to the car as the showers began to set in. " — Nimblefoot • Jun 22, 2016
"Took Nickerson Ledge to Carter Ledge up to Third Sister, followed along to Middle Sister, First Sister then onto Piper Trail up to Chocorua and back down Piper Trail. Nickerson/Carter Ledge trails were fairly steep ascents with some ledges, but wasn't as scary as I was expecting. Would be tough in wet/icy conditions." — maureenfh • Oct 24, 2015
"We did Chocorua and then Middle and First Sister. I am confused about which pictures are which, so see Chocorua for more pics. I should have labeled them when I could remember." — lindahowes • Sep 26, 2015
"21APR2013: An ambitious undertaking the day after my first 5K race of the year (Yes, 5Ks are considered challenging by my body). My brother invited me to hike the Three Sisters Mountains and Chocorua in a loop. We each invited a friend and the 4 of us tackled this arduous journey together (well, arduous to me anyway). This loop took us over 4 total peaks in one day for a total of a lil' over 12 miles in 10 Hours. We were blessed with amazing hiking weather- warm enough to stuff your jacket in your pack & cool enough to leave a few layers on. The 10 hours included a handful of 5-10min photo opps, a lengthy discussion with a hiking couple on Middle Sister, and ~45min lunch atop Chocorua. It was a LONG day, but the beauty of it all was so inspiring I have no regrets :)" — CiccheMariti • Apr 21, 2013
"What a great day for a hike. First we hiked Mt. Chocorua, and then skipped over to Middle Sister. There were 70, 7th graders on Mt Chocorua and we were glad they didn't follow us to Middle Sister, that peak we had all to ourselves. The views were great, and because it was just a hop, skip, and a jump from Chocorua, it was an easy two peak day." — bwright • Sep 12, 2012
"On our way back from the summit of Mount Chocorua we decided to take a detour and check out what look like an old structure on the summit of the Middle Sister. I wasn't very far from by taking Champney Falls Cutoff we made it there in very little time. Explore around the summit it worth the look around." — elbesto • May 1, 2011
