Started at the ski hill, walked to Middle Kootenay Pass. Ridgewalked over Rainy Ridge NW to Rainy Ridge then had a fun scree down to the lakes. Took the trail back to Middle Kootenay Pass and then ridgewalked over Haig S3 over to Haig. Descended the east ridge of Haig back to the ski hill.

The whole route was quite easy but in many sections where there were cliff bands that you just had to pick and choose your way through. Nothing over class 2 or 3 if you don’t want it to be. The only exception was descending the north ridge of Haig S3 - Spicy! There were some class 4 or 5 downclimbs.

Overall fun day. Middle Pass Lakes were my favourite.
