"From Conistone Bridge, taking the path up the interesting Dibb Gorge, then on the track to Sandygate over the vast moor. At the shooting lodge in Mossdale we left the track for a pathless 2.5km hike on the moor of grass and then heather, with peat hags to tackle, before reaching the trig point on the grassy summit. Route back the same as out, but bypassing the gorge on a track to the village to the north. With AT.
Sunshine and some showers, with thicker cloud later. Rain held off until we reached the cars. Strong cold SW wind." — marktrengove2 • Sep 12, 2020
