"The day was on my week plan as a long hill day but the weather was minging this morning so went over to the Lawers range for a solo afternoon round of Meall Corranaich (1069m / 3507ft) and Meall a'Choire Leith (926m / 3038 ft) - set off in the rain on that horrible peat bog but it was starting to clear up as I hit the second summit, and sunny by the time I got back to the car." — mproudfoot • Sep 27, 2018
"With two friends and Jonathan Bellarby. We took cars as far as possible along the Lochan na Lairige road from the Killin side. Much digging in snow and mud. We almost reached the cairn near the roadside. We ascended Meall a’ Choire Leith. Jonathan and I also climbed Meall Luaidhe†. Very heavy rain and high wind. †The name given for the Corbett at the time. In the 1990 Edition of Munro’s Tables the name Meall nam Maigheach began to be used. OS maps show that Meall Luaidhe is really the name of another top a little to the west." — peter43 • Mar 22, 1986
"Alone. I departed from Invervar (Glen Lyon). I followed a zig zag path (not shown on my OS 1:50,000 1st series map) behind Dericambus. I came to a new fence. I talked to a man constructing it – it cost £12,000! It goes up to the boundary of the National Trust land below Meall Greigh. I followed the fence – there is a path on and off. I reached Meall Greigh and then Meall Garbh. I continued to An Stuc (The climb up An Stuc is very steep and loose), Creag an Fhithich and Ben Lawers. I went on to Beinn Ghlas, Meall Corranaich, and Meall a’ Choire Leith. I went down by Corrie Ban and a path (not shown on my map) to the east of Allt a’ Chobhair. Thence by path to south of River Lyon. Weather was fine, becoming cloudy and windy. Mist on the top of Ben Lawers." — peter43 • Aug 31, 1983
