From lay-by on the A6 at NY 54832 02710. Took the lane north over High Borrow Bridge and up to a gate at NY 55217 04893, giving access to the open fell, though with a wall to tackle further up. Steep ascent onto High House Bank. Then followed the track along the ridge over Robin Hood up to Lord's Seat. Returned much the same way. Solo. Some sunshine, with broken cloud. Fierce WSW wind.
