Took my family out for a summit attempt. Mom and dad made it to the saddle and stopped there to rest and take in the views and take some pictures. My brother and I continued on to the summit while my parents waited. The trail to the summit is very faint but not hard to get lost. Regardless, this last 0.1 mile was extremely rocky and steep. It was a great workout to the top. After resting at the top, my brother and I descended to meet back up with our parents and walk back to the parking lot. This was my parents very first actual hike and they loved it. Overall very fun.
