This turned out to be a really wonderful hike. The weather was perfect & the flowers are in full bloom. I went up the east side of the ridge to Longwell Arch Peak first, then continued up the ridge to the south summit. This is what I think of as "East Longwell Ridge". As I neared the summit, I came to an extremely exposed, crumbling knife-edge. I back tracked a little & found a shelf which I traversed just below the summit cliffs, then scrambled up through to the summit. I returned a slightly different way, making a nice semi-loop. Though Longwell Arch Peak doesn't have much prominence, it has a really nice arch & was surprisingly pretty.
