"Enjoyed a crazy day of hiking with friends for this one. Had to park in front of the main entrance gate to fit two cars - then walked across the bridge to the trailhead for Sucker Brook, followed the trail over 3 fairly easy stream crossings and left for the eastern ridge bushwhack about 2.5 miles in. The whack up was about a mile and took a little over an hour with the lower terrain being fairly open and the upper terrain getting steep and icy. Made the summit after ~ 2.5 hours total and then started out descent via the westernmost ridge. Added a little bit on by going over the ridge too far but it was an easy loop back around to the trail for a total of 10.2 miles in 6 hours. " — deb-and-rob • Dec 5, 2015
