"Raspberries are ready for picking, and the wildflowers in the grassy meadows on Krepp Knob smell similar to lilacs. Like a lot of wooded areas near the city, the trees here are choked with wild grapevines and poison ivy. I found some interesting stuff online about things that happened on this mountain in colonial times. It looms above the valley of the Monongahela River. I got down just before it got too dark to see.
