"4/8/24: Sam and I started from Halona Beach and took the path along the Koko Arch lower ridge after crossing the road at the bridge. The scaling of Koko Arch was pretty straightforward (C3 slab) but would be pretty sketchy coming down when wet. Sam decided to turn back and pick me up at Koko Head Park. The best stretch other than the crater ridge section was the ancient steps to the ridge. The railway tracks on the descent really sucked and my knees hate me. (2/920/1310)" — LoneWolf • Apr 8, 2024

"A quick hike, a steep incline, and a great view. We made it up there in 30 minutes, right before sunrise. There were maybe 50 - 100 people at the top. Days before, someone had brought up a couple of Christmas trees and ornaments. Talking with other hikers, this hike was somewhat of a Christmas tradition." — jsimps2 • Dec 25, 2016
