"I found my way through the neighborhood and parked at the end of 75th, grabbed my backpack and headed down the dirt road towards two hills. Based on information from Peakery, it wasn’t clear which hill was Keefer Hill, so I decided to summit both, just to be sure. I decided to tackle the one on the left first. I scouted out the slopes as I was hiking along the road and picked a route that wasn’t too steep or too cluttered with brush and cactus. The route I chose left the road and ascended up the eastern slope to a small ridge that makes up the hill. From this ridge, I hiked the rest of the way to the top. The terrain was mostly loose rock and soil that was made even looser after the recent rains in the area. As I approached the top, the soil and loose rock gave way to boulders that I had to rock hop over. Once at the top, I found what looked like a small, beat-up air mattress lying on some rocks. A quick look around didn’t uncover any other evidence that others had been here before – no fire rings or anything else. After a couple pictures and my 6 pushups, I headed back down the way I came.
