Awesome day out! Started an hour before sunrise and was rewarded with nearly PERFECT spring conditions. A little breakable crust, a little postholing, but mostly just delicious, firm, climbable snow. The road was well-packed by snowmobile traffic, so even the long approach wasn't too bad. A true pleasure to romp around on these high peaks and ridges on a picture-perfect bluebird day. Didn't see another person all day - like I had the entire Willow Creek drainage to myself.
