Took the bus to Spitzingsattel and went for a round-trip featuring three peaks. Benzingspitz was inaccessible as it is a protected wildlife sanctuary during the winter. Came across lots of people with snowshoes or touring skis, but the snow was solid enough for regular hiking boots with crampons. Great weather, and good food on Schönbergalm on my way back!
