Fairly quick double-bagger, but the snowstorm added a little extra excitement/challenge. Bushwhacks are always a bit more daunting when visibility is low, and you are trying to route-find. I got creative, as you can see from my route map. For some reason I felt like tagging the hill just west of Jack's. After that I proceeded down across the saddle and up the west flank of Jack's. A bit of scrambling at the top, but nothing too bad. The snow really started picking up at this point, and I decided to put my expensive camera away. Not being able to see a damn thing, I crossed over to Crescent via the saddle, and up the NW side, which seemed the most obvious thing to do, but the topo lines on my map were a bit deceiving, as the northern ridge line ended up consisted of a repeated series of 15-30' high mini-crags, almost like this was a hogback snaking in and out of the ground. Anyway, I went for it because it was actually pretty fun scrambling, and I didn't feel like finding another way in that weather. That being said, after summiting crescent I opted for the western slopes, which ended up being a much easier route.

great report. FYI you can now add GPX files to your logs on peakery (when using computer only).
