"Great trail. Followed the all trails loop route counterclockwise. No issues, nice hot day, good workout, no real summit views. To get to the top, go up the grubstake trail about 50 yards, then just go up the clearing." — puddlepirate • Jun 7, 2024
"I was telling a few of my friends how much I liked the view of Denver from the summit of this mountain and they asked If I wanted to go back and show them what I was talking about. So up again I went. This was the first hike for my buddy Will since he has had some very intense shoulder surgery. I think he needed it since he has not been able to do much and he was getting restless. I am very glad I got to go with him for this very important step forward in his healing. It was again dark when we reached them summit and they got to see the view of the city lights I was talking about. This time I took a different route back down completing what is known as "The Loop" by people who do it regularly. There was another fellow there who had been doing laps of the loop for the entire night. " — IanWright • Oct 24, 2015
