This hike would have been nicer two weeks earlier. It was starting to get warm, which means drier vegetation and snakes. We heard two rattlesnakes, I saw one non venomous snake and Asaka saw another which was probably a Great Basin rattler. Took our time to lug the 12 day old up to the summit. His first real hike. Daddy ran up hot springs benchmark as a bonus peak while Asaka and Leif sidehilled around. Lots of flies on each summit. I was pretty worn out and dehydrated afterwards.
