"Day three of Aruba. We climbed the only and tallest mountain on Aruba, Mount Hooiberg so it was a must do. At only 541 feet above sea level, it however has 587 stairs to the top, making that 1,174 stairs in total. Wyndham did well climbing a good portion himself. It was very humid but you could see most of the country looking North. We visited the Aruba Donkey Sanctuary in the afternoon. The donkey’s were very friendly to walk amongst. Wyndham really enjoyed this as he always takes well to animals. I am enjoying seeing his smiles, he is a happy kid. It is challenging with young children as when they miss naps like he did today it makes a long day and there are ornery moments. While I’m appreciative to be here, I don’t understand the Aruba fuss. I’m also confused why Aruba is heavily influenced with so many Chinese food markets, they are inundated throughout the country each with different Chinese names but same style buildings.
