After years of seeing this Knob sitting out on a ridge near Balsam mountain I finally wandered out and tagged it. Found some stretches of a well used herd path up on the flank of the ridge most likely made by hunters. On the final ascent I found a hunters perch on a prominent rock ledge. The summit was flat with no distinct high point, cairn or any marking.
