I left the house at 5:20 AM and preceded to the William’s Lake parking area a little past the Taos Ski Valley. I took my dog Daisy. We started hiking at 8:40 on a clear cool morning. The starting elevation was 10,240 feet. I got there at 10:20 after hiking 2.4 miles, an hour and 40 minutes to make it to the top. When I hike, I like to get ever knoll and peak that I see in the area, just in case it is added some time.
