"Formed a semi-loop hike by going up Skyline Drive and coming down the Skinsuit Trail. I extended out on the Main Divide to include Hagador Peak before coming back to the Skinsuit Junction. My first time on Skinsuit. It is a good express route back down, it saved me about 3 miles." — MikeTeeples • Mar 31, 2023
"This hike had great views from all of the peaks. The summit of Pleasants Peak had a sign, no register, but has an abandoned tent on top. When hiking Hagador Peak, it has just okay views and the summit of Love Peak had a ammo box register. HIked to all of the peaks using the Skinsuit Trail cause it was fast. 13 miles using the Skinsuit trail, out and back. Fun trail!" — lc444 • Dec 19, 2022
"It was a hot 100 degree day as we slowly mtbed up Hagador Peak. I remember the wave of relief that came over me as I fell off my bike and on to the floor as I was super duper tired. Then after that I mtbed down the road to Hagador Peak at about 40 mph. This video will help you understand more about my hike.

"I summited alll of these peaks in the same day in March 2021. The attempt to summit Mine II Benchmark was foiled because we hadn't hiked for a while. But the Knobcone and Coulter pines along the trail were so cool! This was our second longest hike yet clocking in at 19 miles. This video will help

"This is my second summit of Hagador, 1/13/19. This time, I went up Skyline Drive in Corona to Main Divide, passing Beeks Place and the Doppler (Peak 3020'), and Mine II Benchmark (3,403'), also just off Main Divide where the firebreak from between Tin Mine and Hagador Canyons meets Main Divide and tops out 50 yards to the south of Main Divide itself on a small mound. I had previously hit 3020, Mine II BM before Hagador, and would hit Pleasants Peak just after this. Just a note, there is a mound 100 yards behind a private property fence that is 10 feet higher than the high point that is publicly accessible. Since, the summit mound is behind the fence, I am considering the small mound in front of the middle towers a summit. It was a tiring, strenuous, wonderful, and beautiful day in the northern Santa Ana Mountains!" — brianpowell • Jan 13, 2019
"Took Skyline and Main Divide all the way. Probably could be done easily with a mountain bike, although I am no expert since I never even sat on a mountain bike before. Originally set out to do both Hagador and Pleasants Peak, but I ran out of time when I was about a half mile from Pleasants. Will properly complete Pleasants from a different approach at a different date." — MikeTeeples • Mar 18, 2018
"This hike was a crazy adventure for my friend and me despite the straightforward directions. Hagador Peak is a long hike from up the Silverado Trail (at the Maple Springs Trailhead) to Main Divide. Main Divide has many ups and downs making the trail a strenuous hike and an awesome workout. Once nearing the towers of Hagador on Main Divide, you take a curving spur road to the towers on the summit plateau. One bummer is that the actual high point on Hagador is a small mound 100 yards beyond a private property (cameras in use) fence on the south part of the plateau. My friend and I did not want to risk trouble, though I was itching to run, tag the mound, and run back. We didn't, however, out of respect for the law! We then went to Pleasants Peak, then back to Silverado Canyon at the Maple Springs Trailhead. Round trip is supposed to be about 17 miles and about 3,700' elevation gain, but since my friend and I got confused around Pleasants Peak as to where the actual trail to its summit was, we wandered around that peak, also being stopped by a private property fence, re-looping around Pleasants finally finding the very steep use trail up loose scree to that summit, then finally..." — brianpowell • Mar 4, 2017
