Another hot summers day in Alpbach. We climbed directly up from the road near Alpbach Village. At first it was through meadows, then steeply up through woodland and then a gravel path up between the crags led onto the summit ridge. Here there were good views all around, to the Zillertal peaks to the south and across the Inn valley to the Rofan and Brandenberg alps to th north. We explored the ridge, then descended east from the ridge and s e to to Dorfewinkel and returned through the grassy meadows to Alpbach
