"Cairngorm Club meet at Tomdoun. With three members. From Loch Quoich Dam on a path south to forestry, then west up Druim na Geid Salaich. On the steep part of Gairich we found a well made path, not marked on the map, and then the route winds up through rocky parts – easy to follow, even though the mist was down on this section. From the summit of Gairich we descended south west including a small top slightly to the north of the main route, not very easy to see it on the map. The mist now lifted. On to Gairich Beag and down a stalker’s path, but cutting SE lower down to meet the valley track. Along the path in Glen Kingie to the lochan and back to the dam." — peter43 • May 1, 1983
